Thermal Conductive Insulation Coating
MCOTI's thermally conductive insulation coating is a one-part heat-curing water-based epoxy spray material that can be sprayed directly on the surface of a radiator or metal base plate to form a dense, continuous, and strong-adhesion thermally conductive insulating coating. Suitable for high heat dissipation density scenarios such as AI power supplies, high-power DC/DC, OBC, and server VRM modules.

Product Advantages

Water-based Epoxy Funtional Coating

MEP 3700 series is a one-component heat-curing water-based epoxy spray material with a thermal conductivity of up to 2.0W. It is environmentally friendly and compliant. It can be directly coated on the surface of a radiator or metal base plate to form a continuous, strong adhesion thermal insulation film layer. While achieving high thermal conductivity, it also has electrical insulation and protection functions, creating a "thermal conductivity + insulation + protection integrated interface" and becoming an innovative choice for high-power module packaging. Suitable for high heat dissipation density scenarios such as AI power supplies, high-power DC/DC, OBC, and server VRM modules.

Application advantages:

  • Thermal conductive insulation coating can replace insulation sheets in application scenarios to avoid the risk of cracks in high-frequency vibration environments

  • The coating dries instantly and can be sprayed on R corners, grooves and sides. It supports different 3D designs and is flexible and efficient.

  • A single spraying is only 5μm, which can be repeatedly superimposed to reach the target thickness. Multiple sprayings can simultaneously compensate for defects and improve yield.

  • The coating thickness can be precisely controlled, the thickness is uniform, and the Cpk can reach 1.67

  • High insulation, thickness range of 100~250μm can meet the high voltage requirements of 3000~6000V in different application fields

  • High reliability, excellent performance can be maintained after long-term aging

Comparison with traditional ceramic sheet/PI film solution:

  • The coating is in direct contact with the metal substrate, and the contact thermal resistance between layers is low.

  • Traditional insulation sheets are prone to cracking in high-frequency vibration environments

  • The coating thickness is controllable and conforms to lightweight structural design

  • The coating process is more flexible and can cover curved edges and grooves

  • Fully automated operation, no need for cutting and positioning
